GDMF Accessibility Information

 

The paved pathway through Riverside Park is accessible for those with strollers, wheelchairs and walkers. However, as it is a public park, certain areas maybe uneven.

Our activities, including food stalls, vendor market areas, and performance stages, are at the ground level and are easily accessible.

Ample lighting is arranged for visitors to navigate through the festival site at dusk.

Service dogs are allowed in the Park during the Festival weekend.

Water Wagon is conveniently located in the Park to supply water to visitors.

Wheelchair-accessible portable toilets are provided on-site.

Special Duly officers from the Guelph Police Service and private security guards have been recruited to monitor the Festival grounds and provide assistance if needed

Paramedic and emergency services are also offered through St. John Ambulance, which is on-site for the entire duration of the Festival.

Volunteers, Staff and Board members are available throughout the Festival weekend to help to assist with any issues throughout during the event.
